The Danish Internet Awards, Denmark’s largest and longest-running digital prize that rewards outstanding creative digital communication, now has a new glimmering name. Starting this year, the prestigious event – formerly known as DIA – will be titled DIAMOND (DIAMANTEN in Danish). AM has created the new sharp visual brand, with a diamond as the focal point.
Based on strong visual elements and bold typography, the diamond brings together an expressive style with an engaging communication platform centred around the word diamond.
The diamond becomes the focal point of the nominations, the awards and the overall experience of the annual event. Furthermore, the Diamond Youth Prize is now known as Future, and the identity aligns with DIAMOND, creating a clear and consistent connection to the brand.
The identity will be a fully digital experience, as well as incorporating offline material, and it will shine bright in the awards ceremonies each year. AM has also helped put together the themed playlist for the show. The photo style has been inspired by the process of making a diamond – from carbon to diamond.
Diamond will be unveiled fully at the awards evening on May 11, 2017 – and of course in the Black Diamond in Copenhagen. See you there!
